Keith Hudson

Chairman

Keith and his wife Tina have been members of Sunnyside since 1992. They have served in a variety of areas over the years and are currently in the Children’s  Ministry (4 and 5 year olds).  Keith is retired from the U.S. Army, frequently traveling in support of the Government through Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.  They have two children Brian and Sabrina.

Dale Strief

Vice Chairman

Dale and his wife Jean came to Sunnyside in 1992, and Dale became an elder in 2001.  He enjoys working and participating in many different activities at the church.  Their growing family includes 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Eric Batteiger

A graduate of Nebraska Christian College and Cincinnati Bible Seminary, Eric assists with the administration and direction of Sunnyside Christian Church alongside the elders. He teaches and preaches on a regular basis at our weekend services.

Ray Fisher

Ray has been a member of Sunnyside Christian Church since 1976 when he moved to Colorado Springs from Ohio with his wife, Ethel, and two children, Roger and Teresa. He now has 3 grandchildren, 1 grandson-in-law (who will be serving with the Army in Afghanistan later in July) and 1 great-granddaughter. Ray retired from Goodrich Industries in 2003 and has been working as a part-time custodian here at the church since then.

John Green

John is the blessed husband of Joan and his quiver is full with 4 children and 5
grandchildren. John and Joan have been members of Sunnyside since 1966, except for 13
1/2 years in Korea where they enjoyed serving missionaries. John has had the opportunity to visit 37 different countries.

Dwight Humphrey

Dwight was born and raised in Colorado Springs and has attended Sunnyside for the past 11 years.  He is the Director of Information Services for Douglas County School District in Castle Rock.  Dwight is married to Terri Humphrey and has three children: Shelbi, Tanner and Parker.  He currently teaches the college/career Sunday school class.

Chris Renfro

Chris and his wife, Susan, have attended Sunnyside since 2002.  They were both raised in Christian families and enjoy serving in the church.  They have four children: Alisha (married and living in Idaho), Jeremiah (married and living in California), Amy (attends Sunnyside), and Jacob (involved in Sunnyside's youth group).

Don Shoffner

Don and his wife Kathy are Colorado natives and have been at Sunnyside since 1999.  They have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.Don learned piano service from his father and has been in business here for 40 years.  He worked for Yamaha Piano as a service consultant for 20 years.  He and Kathy enjoy being greeters and serve as leaders in the Encore Ministry at Sunnyside.

Paul Weil

Paul and his wife, Prudy, have been at Sunnyside for 14 years.  As an elder in his previous church, Parkcrest Christian Church in Long Beach (CA), Paul brought a strong desire to serve the church body in spiritual matters.  His family consists of two children. Their son, Chris (and wife, Dema) have a son, John (BJ) and another child expected in December.  Their daughter, LeeAnn, has five children: Hailey, Makenzie, Jacob, Chase and Katelyn.
