Jubilee Handbell Team

Over the years, the Jubilee Bell Team has performed at many Sunnyside worship services (including Christmas Eve and Easter Sunrise Services). In addition, we have provided musical enjoyment to several local assisted-care, day-care, and pre-school centers.

Why ring in a Handbell Team?

Handbell ringing is Fun

It provides the pleasure of making music, as well as social interaction with a peer group dedicated to a mutual purpose.

Handbell ringing is Therapeutic

It provides a wonderful release from the tensions of everyday life.

Handbell ringin teaches self-discipline and responsibility

Through commitment to rehearsal and preformance schedules, ringers learn to establish and sustain priorities and assume accountability for success. They also learn to be responsible for their bells, gloves, uniforms, and music and to be ready to ring on time.

Handbell music enhances worship services

Played as an anthem, a processional, or recessional, handbell music adds an extra dimension to worship services.

Handbells are fun! What else can I say? Handbells are for everyone - men, women boys and girls! The Jubilee Bell Team is a caring team of people that enjoys learning, playing and sharing their music with others.
